at the beginning it was the myth
_
With this story our aim was to unveil the extremely rich world of folk poetry, as well as the folk perceptions that emerge through the folk songs. The power and beauty of folk songs, as crystallized in its freedom, its language, its ideas about the human issues, its motifs, in the variety of its voices, from place to place, and from season to season.

The folk song is rebirthed every time it is sung somewhere else or as it travels through time. Its authentic inner material is the voice, which wrote deep inside us an anonymous, communal poetry, without owner, since the elaboration of the lyrics continued uninterrupted, with a strict criterion of the common feeling about creating poetry.
