Literally translated in Greek as “sea”. Greece is defined by the sea. It surrounds it. The sea has formed its geography, its climate and its economy. The Greeks’ temperament and daily life are deeply connected with it.“Thalassa” is a project that uses sea analogies, comparing it to seemingly random things.Considering the beaufort scale, the sea can be compared to things such as oil or even little sheep, used metaphorically to describe the condition of the sea, depending on the wind.
